Programs

The Vancouver School of Economics has numerous programs available for every level of interest in the subject at the undergraduate and graduate levels.

The range of topics taught in our economics courses is broad. Recent courses included Environmental Economics, Money and Banking, Labour Economics, International Economics, Economic History of Canada (or Europe or America), Poverty and Inequality, Public Finance, Women and the Economy, Law and Economics, Transition Economics and Globalization.

For students who are interested in economics but who do not wish to pursue an economics specialization, there are many courses available that can be taken as electives. In fact most 300 level courses (except Econ 303) require only Econ 101 and Econ 102 as prerequisites.
